Terrain Square Competition!

Ace Necron Overlord for Royal Court Army

What started life off as a small, personal project, to have a few Necron Crypteks painted for me by members of the wargaming community, has turn into a full blown Royal Court army. I am talking about two full Royal Courts with five Crypteks and five Lords in each. All converted and painted by this amazing community. Today's post is all about the wonderful Overlord that was painted up for me by Aceface, he will be heading up one of the Royal Courts, and what a great job Ace did. Welcome to the announcement of the prize draw details for the HELP for HEROES 'Salamanders' charity raffle, where you have a chance of winning a Salamanders army, donated, built and painted by the very talented YouTube Wargaming Community. PRIZE DRAW DETAILS

We are very excited to say that the army prize draw will take place at the Salute twenty fourteen Wargaiming Convention, on 12th April 2014. We will be on stand TM03, where the army will be displayed in all its glory for every one to see. The winner of the army will be announced at 3pm at Salute. You will be able to buy tickets on the day to win this awesome army, and we hope to have some fantastic spot prizes at the event to really make things interesting. We look forward to seeing some of you there, but if you cannot make the event, the winner will be announced here on the Blog soon after.

Necron Bastion Built and Reviewed

Welcome to this review post of the new Laser Cut Card Cyborg Statis Tomb. This new kit offers so much more than just a Bastion for your Necron army, so lets take a look at it and see what it is all about...

First of all, lets talk about the material itself, as I know some of you reading would not have seen my previous reviews of the large amount of LCC products I have. The kit is made from strong cardboard and MDF pieces, with the exception of the green plastic crystal. I find using super glue is the best way to glue the pieces together, as they will stick very quickly and make the card even stronger as the glue soaks into the joints.

As you can see from the picture above, this new kit also has holes for you to use your standard 5x1mm magnets, if you wish to do so, it is not essential that you magnetise them, just an option. Building the sections is very easily done by following the simple instructions provided on the Laser Cut Card website. Once built, the options seem to be endless with what you can use this kit for, including a fantastic cut out idea to place a Monolith onto it. Not only that, but it all folds together nicely for storage. It's another Laser Cut Card winner for me...

Necron Bastion Unboxing

What can I say? It's a NECRON BASTION!! Well, OK, it's a Laser Cut Card Cyborg Statis Tomb, but either way, I just can't wait to get this little beauty built and painted. This latest design to come out in the large range of  'Cyborg' products from LCC, looks to be a wonderful kit. It comes with the brand new Crystal, an easier to build design, stronger MDF parts, and has holes for magnets. There are many build options for it as well as a Bastion, so I will get it built and then review it for you in a few posts time...

Crashed Speeder Wraithknight Base Done

I have been working hard painting up my Klingon Wraithknight conversion, and I have now totally finished the base. I had a little fun with the two Marines in the speeder and named them after a couple of good buddies of mine who have Blood Angels armies, Lew from 40kWarpaint and Mike from cruorangelussilicis Please go and check out there awesome Channels and give them a sub, but before that, let me know what you think of my base in the comments section below...
