Nick speaking,
Whenever I get a chance to bring out my Necron themed board, I always get the urge to play my Necron army. With a new Necron Codex not to far away, and with all the rumours of what is going to be in it and how the new rules will work, I just had to get my Deceiver based list on the table, just in case the Star Gods disappear forever...

Necrons should have won :D
ReplyDeleteI'm not a necron player, so may have got the rules a bit fuzzled, but couldn't the monolith have sucked a unit of warriors out of the door to cap the BA's home objective? (there appeared to be a 'spare squad on the necron objective) Struck me as a very effective tactic (deep strike on the other point and pull a troop unit turn 5).
ReplyDeleteGood thought, but the Range of the power Matrix to do it is only 18". I do use this tactic in Seize Ground missions though, where the Monolith goes in the centre of the board and teleports troops to clam/contest.
