Over time I have built up some tactics to counter him, and it's not all about throwing the hardest unit in your army at him to do the job! Of course expanding on these tactics to deal with any hard hitting attack unit key! But that's for another day....
Who is your nemesis and how do you counter them?

ReplyDeleteThraka and the Nobz are mine, too, but I've found a very effective cure: Sternguards with hellfire rounds. First time I put the Sterns out there, they hid behind a low wall, watching Ghazghkull and his krew charge forward. Then they opened fire.
ReplyDelete10 Sterns, 20 rapid-fire shots, 8 unsaved wounds, 3 dead nobz (out of 5) and a wound on another knob and Thraka. Less than 50% left, so they turned and ran off the board.
Of course, now that 25% can rally, maybe they'd come back, but I still like my odds. :)
It will be intersting to see how this unit fairs in 6th =)
