Next Necron Project Results

Thank you to everyone who participated in my recent Poll about what Necron unit I should get next. I was using the poll to get your opinions of course, and had full intentions to go with whatever the poll results were. As you can see below, the top three results were a second Night Scythe, Deathmarks and a Triarch Stalker. It was very close between them with only two votes separating first and third. So my next purchase is going to have to be one of these three.

I wasn't surprised to see that a second unit of Wraiths received a good amount of votes, and it was also nice to see Tomb Blades got the same amount of votes as them. As my followers will already know, I have already managed to get my hands on some old Destroyers from eBay, who will be standing in as Tomb Blades for me anyway...

Aegis Defense Line                     7 (8%) So it's between a Night Scythe, Deathmarks and Triarch Stalker! I am currently using my Pariahs as stand in Deathmarks, so I don't think I am in any hurry to get them at the moment, and I have one Night Scythe that I am already playing. The Triarch Stalker a brand new unit that I have never had any experience with before, and as a long time Necron player, a new unit is just too exciting to turn down...

6th Edition Rule Book Unboxing!

You have probably noticed that I have been posting more than usual recently, this was mainly because I had some 5th edition stuff in my scheduled list that I needed to clear through before the new book arrived. Well today is 6th edition day for me, as I have managed to get my grubby hands on the new rule book! Below is an unboxing video and to be honest, I am feeling very happy that I did my best to ignore all the rumours that floated about over the last year or so. I am really looking forward to reading my copy of the new 40k rules with no expectations of what might, or might not be happening to all of my armies.

On the Blog front, with no scheduled posts in the system, it's almost like a fresh start for that as well. I would like thank everyone for all the support I have received with the Blog so far. I have made many new friends, including Embolden 40k and all the great guys over at UK Bloggers Group. I appreciate every comment, email, link, feed, blogroll etc. that I have had, and I can only hope that you have enjoyed my 5th Edition journey as much as I have. I am sure the new rulebook with not only bring GW a bucket load more money, but will really stimulate the 40k community and gaming groups everywhere. So lets celebrate this together as we move forward into a brand new era of 6th Edition, where there is only war...

Necron Flyer Unboxing!

What can I say, It's a Necron Flyer! I have been waiting for a flyer for one of my four armies for some time, and now I finally have one. Who cares about the rules, or if it's worth the points! It's a FLYER! I plan to magnetise it up into both a Doom Scythe and a Night Scythe as usual, but until then, here is a video of me unboxing it...
