Necron Painting Update #2

Continuing on with my painting of the three Necron Acanthrites, Necron Wraiths and an old school Necron Warrior that I was given my Snake Eyes Gaming, and I am pretty much finished. Just the bases to go which I will do to match my Necron board. I am really happy with how the Acanthrites have turned out and it's been a lot of fun converting and painting the Forge World unit from the old metal Wraiths...

Necron Painting Update #1

Time to get cracking and paint up the three Necron Canoptek Acanthrites conversions I did, along with six more Wraiths and an old school Necron Warrior that I was given my Snake Eyes Gaming. So far I have completed all the metallics and I am ready to go in and do all the detailing. As always I am having a lot of fun painting Necrons, and having the old Warrior to paint is an added bonus! Necron Canoptek Acanthrite Conversion Complete

Finally finished the Acanthrite conversions, I have to say I am really happy with how they came out and I can't wait to get them painted. I think they look pretty close to the originals, well, except for the stabilisers, but I am not a fan of those bits anyway! Let me know what you think in the comments box below...

Necron Canoptek Acanthrite Conversion Progress #2

I am progressing very nicely with the Acanthrite conversions. I have now received the bitz that I was waiting for from eBay and added them to the models. I think these are really matching the originals quite nicely, but I still have some work to do...

Next will be to add the Wraith back pieces to them, but I have a new idea from the one I previously posted about. I will reshape the back piece and put it on back to front. I think it beefs them up but doesn't make them look like Wraiths too much. Once I have complete these sections, all I have to do is a touch of green stuff work on the lower tails and then magnetise the flying bases.
