Here is my Swarmlord conversion all painted up. This fella is now magnetised to be a Swarmlord, Hive Tyrant and a Flyrant with all of the weapon options. The idea to make him into a Swarmlord came about when a very good buddy of mine Aceface, gave me some Bone Sabres he had. Swarmlord Money Saver Conversion

After converting my Hive Tyrant into a Flyrant, fully magnetised to give me both options, of course. I figured I might as well go all out and convert my old 3rd edition Tyrant, to have a Swarmlord option as well! The idea mainly came about when a very good buddy of mine Aceface, gave me some very awesome looking Bone Sabres he had. Well, now that I have my Broodlord painted, I need to get him on the table. I have played around with a Swarmlord Star list before, but I have never played with nine Hive Guard. This is mainly because I don't have the models, but as Warriors make great proxies for Hive Guard and indeed, great conversion opportunities for them, I suppose it's about time I tried them out, and for my first game I was up against Tau...
