In this battle against Blood Angels I try out the list I made in my recent The Next Stage post. Basically, I wanted to try out a unit of Destroyers/Heavy Destroyers. It was a great battle, and believe it or not the Stormraven in the picture below is in MY deployment zone, and is next to MY objective!
Very nice play as usual, with a good scarab/spider counterattack... but I guess destroyers aren't exactly reliable anti-tank huh! What might you use for that role in future if that's all they can do?
ReplyDeleteThanks, I guess the idea of Destroyers and Heavy Destroyers in mixed unit sounds better than it is. As usual, it is better to have a didicated unit for either infantry or tanks rather than both. I think I will just stick to a group of Heavy Destroyers next, standard Destroyers just don't cut it yet (hopefully this will change with 6th). I suppose I need to get more Eldritch Lances into my list next. Hopefully I will get some Annihilation Barges for Christmas...
