Nick speaking,
Here are a few progress pictures of the two Ork Warboss conversions I am painting up for my good buddy Aussie Ork. First I laid down the base coats and then washed the different sections with the appropriate washes......
I then went to work on the metal areas, bear in mind here, that these are my first ever Ork minis I have painted, and my first ever heavily weathered metal work. I thought I would take the learning curve one step further and try out the new Citadel Typhus Corrosion and Ryza Rust. With all that done and a bit of chipping work, I was very happy with the results. Next will be to work on the skin and highlight the other sections...

Look great mate
ReplyDeleteCheers mate
ReplyDeleteSurprised you didn't work on the bases first! (That's my strategy, because it's easy) :) Looking good nick!
ReplyDeletelol, they are pinned and not glued yet, so will be easy to paint the bases, glad you like them so far :)
ReplyDeletePinning bases...exactly what you are supposed to do...and something I never go! I always just pray the super glue holds everything to their bases.
