Wow, I had no idea how time consuming these minis where
going to be to paint. The amount of time it took to just paint the wings was
epic, but I really wanted to do these fantastic looking models some justice, so
I put in the time and effort to get them looking as good as I could. I have two units of six with an Exarch in each, giving me the option of a unit of ten, should a new Eldar Codex make it worth while! I am very
happy how they have come out, so hopefully you will also like them, they are all
metal minis if you're interested to know...

ReplyDeleteDude, those look awesome. What color is that blue? Eldar have tons of sweet models, too bad I think al their guns look silly.
ReplyDeleteThanks mate :D The blue is Lothern Blue, which is the new GW replacement for Ice Blue, but it is actually darker than Ice Blue. First I did the Lothern blue over a white base, then I washed all the recesses with the new GW blue wash. I then blended in a mix of 50/50 Lothren and white, with a final highlight of white.
