Love the subtle white. Fire Pikes are magnetized?
ReplyDeleteDid you use a wash on the yellow and orange? If so what. Simplicity of the paint job deserves kudos.
Thanks mate, yeah, both Exarchs are magnetised :)
ReplyDeleteI washed both the yellow and orange, but in the recesses only. Gryphone Sepia on the yellow and Fuegan Orange on the orange. I have a full how to coming up in the next post!
Glad you liked them and thanks for the comment, Nick
Awesome work, man! I just got started painting up some fire dragons myself - I love how yours have turned out, I'm definitely going to be taking some cues from how you've done yours.
ReplyDeleteInspiring stuff!
Thanks very much mate, I appreciate that. I have a how to paint post going up tomorrow if it helps, Nick
ReplyDeleteReally nice job nick! I run 5 at the moe in a serpent but I think ill boost that to 10 in my latest army list. Have you decided if u going to buy 3 wraith knights or 9 crimson hunters yet? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks mate, I have two units of five in Serpents in my list and they work really well, will have to see how it pans out with the new Dex though. All I can say about the new stuff, is 'GULP £70!'
