Before I can start painting the fifty Flayed One models that I recently got for my sixty strong Flayed One themed army, I needed to work a way out to make some claws for the few that I had missing. I started by trying to make them out of plasticard, but that wasn't too successful, so in the end I came up with the idea of making them out of Hormagaunt talons. It took a lot of reshaping, but I was very happy with the final result I got...
Once I had the claws done, I made a rough hand shape out of 'green stuff' for them to stick to. Then all I had to do was go in and 'green stuff' some flayed skin to cover the join once it was all dried. Now to file down all the mould lines and get them ready for painting...
