Necron Flayed One Army - Collecting the Models!

Continuing on with my desire to make a themed Necron Flayed One Army, and I have been very busy collecting as many old Flayed One minis as I can, taking my original ten models up to sixty! Yes that's right, sixty Flayed Ones as a base for this army and all with the standard Codex as well. I know there is a Forge World option, with Flayed Ones as troops, and maybe one day I will take this route, but for now, the object of the army is to see if I can make it work with the Codex!

So, with some very generous donations from my fellow wargamers, and a bunch of minis that I collected here on the Blog and on eBay, I now have the extra fifty minis I need. I prefer the old minis to the new ones, so that was the main reason for sticking with them, apart from the cost. In the end I spent about £60.00 for them all, which compared to going into a GW store and paying £300.00, is a bit of a bargain...

Next, I need to strip them down, clean them up and find a way to convert some claws for the few minis that have them missing!
