Here is my sons finished Female tank that he did. He did this with me as I painted my Male tank for Greg Huff and AstonM1965 group build on YouTube. He has never done washes and weathering before and he is only eleven years old. I think he did a great job with it, but what do you think?

ReplyDeleteReally like the weathering you've done here. Looks like tank has seen better days, but has held firm in the face of adversity!
My only suggestion (for the future) would be to weather down those decals as well. They seem a bit overly vibrant against the nicely weathered tank hull!
Really well done. At 11 I could basically only glue my fingers to my models...I didn't even bother with paint till my 30's. Your son wins. :)
