Pictures of my first interchangeable Trygon, Mawloc and Trygon Prime. I really enjoyed painting it up and I think it's my favourite Nid model so far! You can learn how to magnetise your own Trygon in this video I did if your interested...

Looking extremely nice there, the shine effect on the carapace works fantastically, and the small spots of pink fleshy bits add great contrasting elements. Fully magnetised too - neat!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much :D, I have found one Trygon doesn't really do a great deal, he will usually die before he does anything regardless if you walk him or deep strike him. They work well when spammed out though, hence I have two more Trygons to paint =)
ReplyDeleteI would like to use two, the plan is to deep strike them behind enemy lines and have some hive guard utilise the tunnel :). Looking forward to seeing the three Trygons all finished :D
