Nick speaking,
I have been very fortunate, and discovered that one of my snooker team mates used to be into 40k. He no longer plays or has an interest in it, and has very kindly sent a few minis my way. Most of the minis are from the old Eldar range, including a Falcon, Avatar and a few old Howling Banshees. In the bag of bitz were three models of which I am not sure what they are. Does anyone else know what they are please? They were all painted when he was quite young, so I am sure he won't mind me saying, please excuse the paint job
Mini One...(?)
Mini Two... (Eldar Guardian, maybe?)
Mini Three...(Eldar Ranger, maybe?)

Two weeks ago I showed you some 32mm scale miniatures. Lately I've been

Model number 2 is Classic Eldar Ranger w/Long Rifle 7 Part #9947010401503
ReplyDeleteModel number 3 is Classic Eldar Ranger w/Long Rifle 4 Part #9947010401512
Model number 1 looks to be some sort of custom build, because I can't find a picture of it in the 2006-2007 Complete GW Catalog, sorry.
Thanks for clearing those two up for me :D, interesting about the first one, I am pretty sure it's not converted in anyway as the guy was quite young when he had it. Hopefully someone else will be able to shed some light on it.
ReplyDeleteFound the first one :) Chaos Space Marine Icon Bearer (Blister) Part #99060102051
ReplyDeleteMust have missed it in my search the first time.
Brilliant, thanks so much for the effort. mmm I wonder, if I drape a wolf pelt over the star and convert him with a few non Chaos bitz and maybe a new head, I should be able to use him as a standard bearer for my 13th Co. Space Wolves :D Bonus!
ReplyDeleteThe top part of the standard should be a separate piece; there were a couple of different options IIRC. May be able to easily take that part off and replace it with something more wolfy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I will look into that :D
