I think the tactical objectives need a bit of adjusting. It's too easy to get a good hang, and completely overrun your opponent. Especially when some of the cards are things like "generate a warp charge".
ReplyDeleteOne fellow suggested a card battle per turn. Whoever scores the most cards gains 2 VP, if you tie, you both gain 1 VP. Limits an overrunning from one opponent and still influences the game greatly.
Yeah, I can see where you are coming from there, nothing wrong with a few house rules is there :D
ReplyDeleteI'm not keen on the tactical objectives and will be sticking to the eternal war missions. I like the fact everything is scoring, back to the good old days of 5th edition.
ReplyDeleteSounds the the mission cards could be fun now and a gain for a change, but I am with you, pretty sure my buddies and I will play the standard mission most of the time
ReplyDeleteHow are you and your mates going to play battle forged, unbound and multiple detachments? I know you're not a fan of allies :p
