So yeah, in the end I decided I would repaint my old Monolith, I painted it a long time ago and not to a great standard. usually it wouldn't bother me, but as I am painting another Monolith for my Living Tomb Formation, I want the three tanks to all look the same!
The first job was to remove the green plastic pieces! I personally like them and didn't want to paint over them. To remove the green bits, I simple dropped some water on them to work the PVA glue loose. This only took ten minutes and I was then able to remove the green part with a knife very easily...
Although the paint job I did was poor, it wasn't thickly painted, so I didn't need to strip it, I just went over the tank with some black primer. All done ready for painting...
