The Year of the Wolf (30)

Right, that's the fist five out of my twenty old metal Wulfen models stripped and converted. I still have to take them off the bases but apart from that they are ready for painting. I am really loving how these wolfies look and I can't wait to get started!

The Year of the Wolf (29) Wulfen Time!

Right, back to the Space Wolves, and as my Wolf army is the 13th Company, I am sure you can imagine how happy I am that the Wulfen are back! At one point I was going to use my 23 old school Wulfen models as Blood Claws, but not any more. First though, I need to do some conversion work. I have some experience cutting up these old metal models, as I use to play some of them as my Mark of Wulfen pack leaders for my Grey Slayers.

More to come one I have some conversions done!

Necron Promethium Pool #3 (Terrain Square 'Corner' Competition 2017)

Back to the Terrain Corner I am doing for my Terrain making competition, sponsored by Inside Out Terrain and WarGames...

Right, so my first task was to make the Promethium Relay Pipes look like Necron pipes. I put a lot of work into that, shaving off all the rivets and spikes and adding loads of Necron bitz to them. I also extended some of the pipes with some old till rolls, using cardboard to detail them up a little...

Then it was back the the terrain itself, after loads of filler and PVA glue to make it waterproof for the water effects at the end, I then added sand to the piece. I also used some mounting board (thick cardboard) to cover up the corners edges, which I think finishes it of nicely. Next is to get it painted and add the water effects!
